The Story
It started with a repair bench.
In 1971, in the Naif area of Deira, Al Khayam opened as a radio repair bench: one counter, one craftsman, and the radios of a growing city. While the trade around us renamed itself audio and sound, we kept the word radio, because we kept the craft behind it.
Five decades later, the bench is still here. Around it has grown everything else: car audio installation and service, PA systems for buses and vans, and the design, sale, and repair of professional AV. Different equipment, same hands, same standard. If it carries sound, we can build it, tune it, or bring it back to life.
We were here before it was called audio. We will be here after the next trend passes.
